Blakeman Chess was created in an effort to bring higher quality chess tournaments to local areas. Our focus is to make chess overall more enjoyable by creating a greater atmosphere.

Young chess players often struggle with receiving scholarships since few colleges have chess teams, in an effort to fix this we have developed scholastic scholarship tournaments to give new opportunities to young players. We also build our own trophies to create some of the biggest awards in the nation, with some trophies towering over 5ft tall depending on the event.

In an effort to bring back classical chess, we try to hold multiday classical events every month. They are always USCF Rated and normally FIDE Rated as well. Almost all of our classical events exhibit strong titled players from around the nation and often abroad.

We hope to continue what we do with the strong support of our players and partners.
