Hello! My name is Zura and I’m an International Master and a Professional Coach with 10+ years of teaching experience. I’ve taught 100+ Individual students, ranging from beginners to all the way to 2300.
Some of the competitive achievements include:
International Master Title
Completing all the norms for the Grandmaster Title and now on a quest to cross 2500+ FIDE rating to claim the title.
FIDE Rating of 2450+ , USCF Rating of 2550+.
Winner of US Grand Prix 2021 (Most tournaments won across US).
Represented multiple teams across: Spanish, German, Turkish, as well as Georgian team Leagues.
Attended University of Texas at Dallas on a Chess Scholarship.
5x Texas State Chess Champion.
My approach is individual towards each student's needs, after assessment of their strengths and weaknesses.
With the influx of so much information, the role of the coach is to show the direction, create a study plan together, provide the material and hold you accountable.
